EBSCO Explora Database contains a variety of reference articles on this topic.
EBSCO’s Literary Reference Centre will also be useful for this project.

Many of Shakespeares plays were performed at the Globe Theatre in London. A version of that Theatre exists today. Their website contains fact sheets that will introduce you to the Theatre and to Shakespeare.
