What in the World is a current events package covering current Canadian and International events and issues. Each issue contains news articles and background information as well as student activities.

Teachers, please contact your teacher-librarian for access.

Some free sources are currently available without a subscription including the current issue  level 1 and 2 on Covid 19.

Building Bridges
Building Bridges has a focus on understanding the impact of current events  on Indigenous Peoples. Each issue features one news story paired with a background article that explains the context or related history. The articles are embedded in a sequence of discussion-focussed lessons that are consistent with the First Peoples Principles of Learning.
